PA fairs well, part II! Camping in PA this month?
Don’t know what to do once you get here? Well, I thought it was only fair to
let you in on a little secret.
Where can you stroll through the aisles of local
artisans, enjoy an abundance of baked goods, jump on a pile of hay and tour our
countryside, and come back to live music through the night?
The fair is where.
September Festivals and
Fairs are found throughout Pennsylvania. Go to any region in PA and there is sure to be a
fair in the area sometime this month.
From days of old,
townsfolk celebrated the years harvest with music, eating, dancing, eating, contests, more
eating and merriment. Today major programs usually include competitive exhibits for
livestock and agriculture as well as novelty contests, a carnival midway, crafts and
food concessions.
The fair is fun for the young, old and everyone in
between.
Don’t tell me you
can’t find anything to do in Pennsylvania in September. I don’t want to hear it!
