what did you get

I traded it in on a Walther PPS 9mm.

I traded that and my 44mag in even steven...

The Walther is so hard to get, and such a compact concealed cary semi...

The other two were nice guns, but I only use the 44 mag 3 maybe 4 days a year, and the ruger is in the truck all the time, where the walther now resided, but was way to bulky and heavy to carry concealed.

The walther is in a little small of your back holster and you never even know its there. It also comes in 40 cal which I thought about, but Wild Flower shoots them from time to time and I didn't want it to break her wrists being so small...

so where would be a good place to buy a pistol. what kind type do you recommend for a beginner. well, i shouldn't really say beginner, it's not like i've never shot a gun before.

You need to ask yourself...

What do you want it for? Target, Occasional Concealed Carry, Home protection?

I hate to say it but the one I just got is ideal for all...

It is so small, only 7/8" thick, hold i think 7 shells...

Can go anywhere comfortably with it.

I wore it all weekend just to see, even had a pair of adidas shorts on with no belt and it was barely noticeable in the small of my back.

It is pretty salty, it is like $600, which is why I traded two guns for one...

But in my opinion very much worth it.

I got it at sporting goods discounters in J Town...
