Does anyone know a good campsite near Hawk Mountain?

Depends on your definition of good.
Rosemont
Christmas Pines
Robin Hill
Blue Rocks
Pine Hill
They are probably the 5 closest. We never had a problem going to Robin Hill. Never been to any of the others listed. Rosemont looks nice, and from what I hear, Blue Rocks is very tight.

We've stayed at Applaichain Resorts near Shartlesville (30 mins away) and it was very very nice. ROOMY campsites, polite staff, clean, modern restrooms/showers.

As a bonus, if you have kids, Roadside America and Crystal Caves are not far and definitely not to be missed! I've been going to both of those every year since i was a kid! My kids love them.

Appalachian is 1 of our favorites. Sites 345-348.

Going to Appalachian, unfortunatly they didnt have any full hook-up sites left. I'll have water electric and cable, no sewer.

When will you be there? Sounds like you'll be behind the office. Nice, shaded spots.
