I've done all kinds of stuff for groups, I do a lot in crockpots, but many can be done over the campfire too. Tacos / Baked Potatoes (fixings are almost the same, gives people more choices) Sloppy joes BLT Kabobs (let them make their own with what they want on them - shrimp, steak, chicken, peppers, etc) Corn on the cob Different desert - how about: Cake in a Mug Ingredients: 4 Tbsp. cake flour 4 Tbsp. sugar 2 Tbsp. cocoa powder 1 egg 3 Tbsp. milk 3 Tbsp. vegetable oil Dash vanilla extract 3 Tbsp. chocolate chips (optional) Equipment: 1 large metal coffee mug Instructions: 1. Add dry ingredients to mug; mix well with a fork 2. Add egg; mix well. 3. Add milk, oil, vanilla, and chocolate chips; mix well. 4. Place the mug on hot coals and cook till cake rises over the rim. 5. Let it cool slightly, then eat out of the mug. We've got a big (12 people) family, and chili is always one of the meals when camping. We do ours in an old iron kettle on a tri-pod. The kids love it cooked long on the fire. Their favorite.
