Our first trip to Otter Lake is next weekend. Can't wait.
Are their any carp in the lake?

enjoy yourself.there's a big flea market on 209 east of marshals creek your wife might like. don't know about carp but i think there are some good bass in the lake. try a lindy rig with a dark colored floating rubber worm. i had good luck with that setup on lakes farther north this year. also, for your beer can chicken, make a foil(shiney side in)tent for over the bird and cook over a moderate fire till the skin is slighly crisp.

Other then taking the dogs for their morning walk, I haven't had the chance to explore the campground yet, but we already know we will be here next year. This place is one of the nicest campgrounds we've seen yet. Sites are huge and almost level.

I posted from otter Lake on our last trip of 2011. I guess I will have to post from otter Lake on our first trip of 2012. A great place to end and start a season.
