That's one of the reasons I belong to a hunting camp,last year for holidays we left the camper sit and went to camp instead,no need to make resv. months ahead of time and no money lost if we decide to stay home due to bad weather,and the best part is no rowdy neighbors to deal with.

Im with you there rich Im glad we also have a permenent camp for the busy weekends when we cant reservations.Or just decide to go at the last minute all we have to do is throw the clothes and some food in the vehical and in a couple hours we are at camp.

Got our sites for Memorial Day Weekend. Hickory Run near Denver. We're not ready for a permanent yet, and we haven't found a campground we would want to have a permanent site at yet. I have to admit it would be nice to just pack and go, but from what we've seen around here, the cost of a permanent isn't in our spending plan anytime soon.
