What are items that have been helpful to you while camping with babies or toddlers? We have a 2 year old and 3 month old. We are new to camping and would like to know what items, tips, or tricks have worked for successful camping trips. I'll start the post with our favorite item: a baby monitor that has a receiver that we can carry with us...ie, we sit at the campfire or hang out with family, while baby naps in the camper baby

If they crawl around, you may want a little fenced in area. they sell portable fences. I've seen them used for pets and kids. It would keep them out of a dangerous or muddy area. Similar to this.

Hmmm...for us, it was a "white noise" machine! think ...and plenty of baby wipes! Came in handy for quickie "baths", mealtime wipes, spilled drinks, melted ice cream, sweat, taking off the bugspray...
